This vehicle was ordered on 03-20-89, shipped 06-30-89 from ASC, Inc. (the factory authorized converter for removal of the t-tops and conversion into a convertible) to Matteson Pontiac. In 1989, ASC, Inc. reported 330 Firebird convertibles, but according to the sales order log as of 21 Aug 1989 there were only 324 made. Of this list, 10 were exported and another 5 have no record in the US, leaving just 309. This was the ONLY convertible Firebird that Matteson Pontiac ordered for the 1989 model year and it was owned by the dealership owner. This car is #55 of the known 59 Firebird Convertibles with the L03 enginge in 1989. It was driven & garaged in Florida until April 2006. Only driven in Ohio on sunny days and garage stored.
